Sunday Breakfast Mission in Wilmington, Delaware


Happy Thanksgiving! Earlier today I interviewed Rev. Laymon from Sunday Breakfast Mission in Wilmington, Delaware for the Orange Duffel Bag Stories. They are serving 1,000 homeless folks this morning. Seeing those folks file in for Thanksgiving dinner really put my heart in its’ place…….we are all so lucky. I’m learning.
In a few minutes, we play our 28th show on this year’s 50 States in 50 Days tour in Delaware….we will broadcast live from the house from 7pm to 8pm Eastern. Please join us. Go Little Guy teardrop trailers sponsors the 50 States in 50 Days tour-a company with heart.

I’ve been running and gunning since Oct. 22nd, and the main reason I’ve been able to make it so far down the road is Go Little Guy Trailers. I emailed them on Thursday, Oct. 22nd with a proposal for them to sponsor this year’s 50 States in 50 Days tour. Within an hour we had a done deal. They have a heart for kids in foster care, and responded right away.
This trailer is light, warm, quiet at night…….and perfect for me. Many times after a show we will roll as far as we can go…………I hate checking into hotels…….time is a premium…….and not having to check in saves me an hour a day. Having a Little Guy Trailer has saved they day for me. I’m thankful.

Update on the 50 States in 50 Days tour……rolling through Des Moines, Iowa…….

We are rolling through Des Moines, Iowa right now on our way to the show tonight in Mason City, Iowa……….tomorrow night in Springfield, Missouri……..then we follow the Roadmap through all the 50 States.
I’m learning alot about the problem of teens aging out of foster care. I’m learning by mainly listening. I’ve succeeded in getting some wonderful Orange Duffel Bag Stories on video. These kids are eager to share their stories……..and every single one of them has expressed a desire to go into some sort of field to help those in their situation……they have a heart to help.
