Hey ya’ll! I’m excited to announce that I’ll be appearing at the 2027 Winter Dance Party at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. I’ll be honouring my father, Bob Montgomery, by performing songs that he and Buddy Holly created at the duo, Buddy and Bob as teenagers.
I’ll be bringing several incredible musicians with me. This is an incredible annual event that is a must for any fan of the music that Dad and Buddy brought to the world. Truly is an incredible experience. Poignant and touching to be at the last place Buddy, The Big Bopper, and Richie Valens played before their very sad demise, along with the young pilot, Roger Peterson.
I believe tickets are on sale, but checked the Surf’s website earlier and the lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but I have permission to go ahead and tell you guys!
I’ll be playing a few shows in late December and early January to warm up for the tour. Hope to see you somewhere!
