Kent has been hammered by snow in the last few days………but the show will go on tomorrow night in Maidstone. Seems like things will thaw a bit, and i’m getting reports of the main roads being ok. There was some conjecture about whether or not to cancel. I never cancel dates……….
So, tomorrow night is ON in Maidstone……then wednesday night in Bury, and then Friday night in West Ashling. Come out if you can. We’ve suffered a little bit from the snow, but all the shows really have been really well attended……..especially considering the adverse conditions.
Last night in Tingewick we arrived safely through the snow…….only to have to be pushed by four young men the rest of the way into the parking lot when the camper couldn’t quite make it all the way into the parking lot! The village hall was packed, and when I asked how many folks had traveled to the show………85% raised their hands, so they had made a big effort to get there despite the snow…….and it was deep……shockingly deep.
