Kevin Montgomery's debut record, 'Fear Nothing' was released on A&M Records to rave reviews and critical acclaim-being picked as 'Best of the Month'" in Stereo Review and as one of the 'Top ten records of 1994' by the Miami Herald. Montgomery promptly hit the road, touring the US with artists such as Sheryl Crow, Peter Himmelman, David Crosby, and The Samples.

This Nashville-raised singer/songwriter pens clever songs that sound a little like Mary-Chapin Carpenter. Songs are this guys suit, many being undeniably first-rate. The standout is 'Don't Make Me Hate The Things I Love', a stark song of resentment and regret that will net some sharp-eyed crooner a Top Ten hit, and there are more where that came from. The next time you hear songs from 'Fear Nothing' don't be surprised if Kevin Montgomery isn't singing them.
