Preview of 7 new songs from “Some Comfort”-and a special message.

Ok, here are previews of the 7 new songs that I’ve finished so far. I extended the recording sessions by 3 days……today, tomorrow, and Friday. Will be recording 3 new songs. I seriously need some pre-sales to finish paying for this record, so please think about pre-ordering your copy. We are coming up on Christmas soon! Ha! So, please think about ordering one for a friend if you already ordered yours!
Ok, here are snippets of the 7 songs, and a little message for ya’ll. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support. This is turning out to be a very special record. Raw…..and alot of the songs were written in the studio………on the mic. The band on this record, and my heros are Shawn Byrne, Danny White, Ken Coomer, John Hobbs, Michael Webb, Scotty Huff…….incredible friends, and my ace engineer co-hort Michael Esser has been killing it. Enjoy!

Thanks bro! I’m very fired up about it. I guess every artist thinks that their new cd is the best, but I seriously feel good about this……….thank you for pre-ordering. It really helps. Kevin

Excellent stuff. A really good range of styles and sounds. I can only imagine how tough it is trying to write and record whilst raising cash for this.

It sounds like you have indeed created your best CD yet! You could title it “No Skip Button Required”! The only problem is, how will you top it when it comes to making the next album?? Ha! I am so looking forward to receiving my copy of this one. Good luck with the rest of the recording.

Stevie, thanks man. Yes, it has been difficult, but it wouldn’t have happened had I not put a deadline on it……….i’m very happy with how the record has gone. Some of the lyrics were written on the mic while recording……….I like that. Thanks for your support, and pre-order. Kevin

Kevin – I’ve been a fan for a while now and gotta say I think the new stuff rivals “Fear Nothing” my favorite in your catalog. Nice to hear the band rev it up along with some poignant ballad stuff.

Kevin, I remember seeing you two years ago in Portland with Jill! I loved your music then and love it still! Great work! You may not have remembered me, but you walked me to my car that night! Anyway, as a piano player myself and even songwriter, your acoustic material is like sitting in a rocking chair on a front porch of a small cabin resting beside a quiet running creek, with the smell of new rain and chimney smoke. Your acoustic music does that for me – thank you for the travels to that place! Come to Portland again! :o) Take care, Kevin!!

Chip, thank you for saying that. It is always a challenge to keep producing relevant stuff. When i listen to “Fear Nothing”…….I hear a much younger man, more like a boy………….i’ve lived a little since then………thanks for hanging with me for so long!

Totally cool! That sounds like a nice way to spend a little time. I’ll be back in Portland at the end of Oct! You better be there!!!!!

Thanks Marie. I miss coming to Barton! Maybe i’ll set something up nearby. Thanks for tuning into the new stuff.

    Hi there Kevin.
This is Jim and Lynda from Yorkshire, I’m sure you’ll remember us.
Both packed in work now and trying to enjoy early retirement.
Hopefully we’ll catch you on your next trip.
The tracks sound good and I hope things work out, for the CD.
Seems a long time ago when we first heard you on CMTV…..

Hey Jim and Lynda!!!! Great to hear you’ve retired! The last time I saw you was in Barton………I was terrorizing you with the campervan I think?!? You guys need to come to Crete this year when I go…….you’d love it.
