This is a little off-topic, but I wanted to make you aware of a very cool project that Robert Reynolds (Roadtrippers, The Mavericks) and Scotty Huff (Keith Urban, The Mavericks) are involved in.
They have entered the Pepsi Fresh competition, and their proposal is they want to “help troops realize their musical dreams.” It is called Operation Sound Off. They have 15 days from today to rally support for their idea……..if they win they get a $250,000 grant.
These guys can go it. They are both very talented, and I would love to see a talented young person, or person from our armed forces have a chance to go into the studio in Nashville and make an unbelievable record with these guys.
