The State of Things- New Record, 2010 50 States in 50 Days, Roadtrippers Reunion, Village Hall shows.

Me, Mike McAdam, Paul Deakin, and Robert Reynolds goutee

……..these are the most important things going on right now: Check them out.

  1. This week i’m booking the rest of the Kevin Montgomery and the Roadtrippers’ 10th anniversary Reunion tour dates in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. I’m specifically looking for folks that would like to host us in their village hall. If you’d like to book us into YOUR village hall, then please read how you can bring me and the Roadtrippers to your village hall.
  2. Kevin Montgomery, Danny Tate, Peter Holsapple, and Robert Reynolds backstage at Awareness Concert

  3. The 2010 50 States in 50 Days tour is currently in the booking phase. If you’d like to host a house concert on the tour, then please get in touch by email. One very important lesson learned from the Danny Tate campaign was that there is no better  way to bring folks together around an issue than a Facebook group, so I formed the “I Support Kevin Montgomery’s 50 States in 50 Days tour!” Facebook group. Please join the conversation there. I saw friendships form between complete strangers in the “Friends for Danny Tate’s Defense” group, and that is something to be proud of. Life. I love it. Join me in the quest to complete the 2010 50 States in 50 Days tour by checking the Roadmap for the tour……and see if you can host a house concert in your State?
  4. The recording sessions for the new record have been booked!!! Aug. 24th through Sept. 7th in Nashville. Super fired up. Now I just have to finish the writing. It will mean there will be a new record to accompany the 50 States in 50 Days tour, and the Roadtrippers Reunion tour. Love it.

Thanks for reading. I’ll leave you with the video of the Awareness Concert-featuring Kentucky Thunder, Tom Kimmel, Dan Baird, Pat DiNizio of The Smithereens, Kevin Montgomery and the Roadtrippers, Justin Kalk Orchestra, Danny Tate. Check out the very end………..the supporters on the courthouse steps………magic.

A special message that echoes alot of what I said here…………

If you’ve made it this far, then check out my “Top 10 Daytime Driving Songs” and add your own.

Listen and buy directly off Itunes, and/or “share” with your friends!

Sherry, Thanks for saying that. It is probably my favorite record that i've done. Of course, all artist say their most recent records……..but there are some songs that I feel most proud about, like “Nothing”…………thanks for the compliment.
