Here is a detailed list of the “Friends For Danny Tate’s Defense” 3 days of activities. There are those traveling from the UK, Canada, Australia, and many other States. Please think about taking a road trip. We’ve even made it possible to congregate as a group representing “Friends for Danny Tate’s Defense” and go on an outreach to Nashville flood victims. Here is the schedule of events:
*Sunday, May 23rd-12noon to 4pm- “Friends for Danny Tate’s Defense” group members will hook up with “Pay it Forward Nashville”, find a Nashvillian in need and assist them for a few hours. “Pay it Forward Nashville” have been doing a great job in finding those in need and filling that need with volunteers. *Sunday, May 23rd-6pm to 12midnight-The Friends for Danny Tate’s Defense Awareness Concert and Flood Relief-This night will be fantastic. I’m so fired up about the bill. Danny Tate, the most competent “incompetent” man I know will perform, and the rest of the cast is includes multiple Grammy winners and the cream of the Nashville crop, many of whom are longtime friends of Danny. *Monday, May 24th-9am-Meetup and attend Danny’s Court Hearing-We meet at 9am at Fido’s in Hillsboro Village. Pick up your “Free Danny Tate” t-shirt and head to the courtroom for the 10am court hearing. Please RSVP on Facebook, and join the “Friends For Danny Tate’s Defense” email list and text list for fast breaking news on the day. We will provide scrutiny on the court. This was very effective last time. This should probably last until 4pm.
*Monday, May 24th-6pm-After Court Hearing Party and Live Webcast from 16ton Studios on Music Row-we will welcome Music Row and “Friends for Danny Tate’s Defense” members, and friends to 16ton studios for food, drinks, and music. This will be a good old-fahsioned music row party. On the menu-BBQ, Chicken, cole slaw, potato salad, etc. We want people to come and unwind after a long day in court. While this is going on we will have songwriters doing a live webcast via my Ustream.tv, or Stageit.com if they come out of beta soon enough. We will operate this as a live telethon type event, and will take donations via paypal. The donations will go to a flood victim other than Danny. Will update you soon as to what organization we will funnel it through. Either way, plan on coming……..even if you couldn’t make the court hearing during the day. Folks will be able to wander into the studio to view and listen to the live webcast. Expect some amazing performers.
*Tuesday, May 25th-Meetup and attend court hearing w/Danny-same as above. Meet at Fido at 9am, and proceed to courtroom for the 10am hearing. This will be the “final” court hearing to decide whether Danny Tate is made a permanent ward of the court. Please show your support by attending. RSVP on Facebook.
As you can see by the countdown timer below. We have 10 days to make a difference in the rest of Danny Tate’s life. Please think about ROADTRIPPING to Nashville for these events. Grab a friend or two, and come for the outreach on Sunday, the concert, and at least one of the court hearings. You will be a part of something that I believe will change a man’s life, and we can help some people together over the weekend in tandem with Pay It Forward Nashville.
