Buddy and Beyond…..watch out….here we come!
Yes, i’m alive. I’ve been working very hard to set up the shows for the 2010 50 States in 50 Days tour, the Kevin Montgomery and the Roadtripper’s 10th anniversary Reunion tour, and the Buddy and Beyond tour with Johnny Rogers and The Vee Brothers in Sept/Oct.
Yesterday I spent about 13 hours editing this video from our appearance at last year’s Clovis Music Festival. It reminded me of what a good time I have playing with Johnny Rogers. There are a handful of Buddy Holly “impressionists” out there, and he is at the very top of those…….incredible performer.
I’m very proud of my father’s work with Buddy Holly, and in recent years…….as I’ve explored the early recordings they did as “Buddy and Bob”……i’ve enjoyed incorporating a few of those into my set. As you can see here………we enjoy it.
