Merry Christmas to all of you. I want to say thanks to everyone that showed up, or helped out on the 2009 50 States in 50 Days tour. Sean and I were talking near the end of the tour, and we both agreed that the best thing about the tour was making new friends. My friends make me feel lucky.
At one point Sean looked at me and said, “I have to say…….you have some amazing friends,”………and I do. So, thank you……..your comments on my facebook page when I might update in the middle of the night while riding down some lonely road in the US…….alot of times kept me going………or awake with my blackberry buzzing.
It’s Christmas Eve, a time of reflection for me……i’m thankful for my friends.
On the 28th of December we start the UK tour. Jill Jackson will be joining us on the tour. She did the 2008 50 States in 50 Days tour with me…….she is simply brilliant……hilarious, and talented. She had a couple of Top 10 hits in the UK with her band Speedway, and is now doing the singer-songwriter thing……doubles as sometimes guitar player for Natalie Imbruglia, and when i’m lucky……me.
We play Glasgow, Mickleton, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Bristol, Tingewick, Maidstone, Bury, and Chichester….and your town, or house if you get in touch quickly!?!? The tour dates are here.
