Tonight we played Portland, Oregon. Lovely town. The show was set up by a twitter friend of mine named Francine Raften. I tweeted that I needed a show in Oregon for the 50 States in 50 Days tour, and she responded. A few tweets later and we had our Oregon date confirmed. Twitter is amazing.

Kaci, I saw your mom tonight at Pagliai's–she updated me about your 50 state tour–sounds exciting! We always look forward to your trips home–the DQ closes Saturday, but I am prepared-bought my winter supply of Dairy Queen & will gladly share with you again this year!! Travel safely–Your famiy and certainly, the “John Dale-Glendale Road” family are proud of you–your dad must be smiling big!! Even tho I am at First Christian Church across town–you are still special.
