Sometimes going out on a limb doesn’t make you a monkey…….
by Kevin on August 26, 2009
This past weekend I did something some would say was crazy. A few months prior I met a duo on myspace called Meadows Ever Bleeding on myspace. They are comprised of two mountain men (Stefan Larsson and Christoffer Wadensten) from a town called Orebro in Sweden. I liked what I heard so I sent them an email and said we should write some music together sometime.
As luck would have it I ended up booking a house concert in Stockholm on Aug. 22nd, so we arranged for them to come play with me in Stockholm, and then I went home with them and we played their town…….complete with a TV appearance focusing on the fact that we found each other through myspace.
Amazing experience on many different levels. It was great getting to know them as individuals, and the audiences were great. They had a wonderful group of musicians around them, and they sat in with us as well. I’m definitely going to book some dates in Sweden now for this winter.
Now for the fun part. While waiting for Stefan to bring the car around………Christoffer took his penny whistle and harassed boaters that were floating past with the theme song to the Titanic……..”A Heart Must Go On”………..I know it is silly, but I like to make fun……preferably at all times.

This is hilarious! Thanks for making me laugh out loud for 3 minutes! I needed that. Spontaneity is a wonderful thing. Reminds me of crazy stuff I talk my friends into spur of the moment…heehee.
