136 days until the 2009 50 States in 50 Days tour begins-your help?!

          The 2009 50 States in 50 Days tour starts on Oct. 25th in Alaska, and ends in Hawaii on Dec. 12th. Yes, i’m a fool for punishing myself with another tour like this, but this past week I spent some time watching the videologues from last year’s 50 States in 50 Days tour. They brought back great memories.

          Memories of all the wonderful people we met along the way……who made the tour work by getting involved.

          Today, I’ve been working on booking the first part of the tour. I have to sit down at the computer and force myself to plow through it…….tedious….exhausting…..and when one has the concentration of a gnat……very difficult.

         Here is my chicken scratch with the dates lined up……as I confirm…..the go red circled, and then finally to black:

    As the day progressed,  I booked shows in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois! Pretty excited about it. Facebook has been a huge help. It is so user friendly, and the status updates work perfectly to get the word out about the tour (hint-you can share this post with your facebook friends).

   How can you help book this tour? If you’d like to host a house concert in your state, or know someone that might……then email me. Or, you could think of some of your facebook friends that live in remote areas like North Dakota, or Utah…..these are hard to book, so I can use all the help I can get!

     Read the inspiration for the 50 States in 50 Days tour, and watch some of the videologues. Some are funny, some are long and laboreous…….but so were the days!
