What does a house concert look like? Germantown, Maryland

One of my favorite house concerts on the 2008 50 States in 50 Days tour took place on Oct. 25th, 2008 in Germantown, Maryland. I just now finished the edit on the video……it happened to fall during a period of about 5 or 6 days on the tour where I had to make a decision on whether to continue editing the daily videos on the tour, or, get some sleep. I normally spent 2 or 3 hours editing at night after the shows………and that might be after a 10 hour drive and a performance, so I was essentially getting 3 hours of sleep a night……..something had to give, so I didn’t post any videos for a few days.

Let me know if YOU want to host a house concert this year? I’m booking now. Just email me.
Here is the video from Oct. 25th, 2008………..AND, no, Jill and I are 100% platonic……..and, at this point had been together for literally 24 hours for a month when this video was shot………so, we have to entertain ourselves on the road……we give each other a hard time, but that is part of keeping sane and passing the time.

Let me know if you would like to book your own house concert…….literally anywhere in the world.

Live music is always something that I would applaude and cherrish:)) Good music is hard to find nowadays and let me tell you that you have my admiration for making your dream come true. You are on of the few people that are probably happy on this planet.

  • Thank you for saying that. Life is a struggle, and I have my struggles, but I am lucky that music has been a part of my life............life is about finding out what your strengths are. Everyone has them...........thanks for commenting!
  • Love your web page Kevin! Hey are you coming through or by Washington State and the Seattle area? If so, I'd love to see if my cousin would like to hold a house event. He's got a great house for it and a lot of friends that love good music - so it would be an awesome fit! He lives in Clearview which is about 1/2 hour outside and North of Seattle. I would love to see you play again and would love to have my friends come and see you and spread the word! Take care and much success - Lisa Hilderbrand - PS: I could write it up in my Seattle PI Blog "Eastside Inside"! Yahoo!!!

Yes, Jill and I always have a good time. We make fun..........we traveled together 24-7 for 60 plus days and didn't have one fight......pretty good.
    Hope you are doing well.
