Hey folks! I’m down here in Key West today. I’m playing a festival in Melbourne, Florida on Sunday, so I came down to Florida a few days early to try to get some writing done for the new record, work on the 50 States in 50 Days tour, book some house concerts, and work on the next UK tour.
Last night I went out with friends and ended up at the Hogsbreath Saloon. Chris Cook was singing on the mid-shift, so I had the rare occasion of sitting down and just enjoying his music. Chris sometimes tours with me as a guitarist, and has opened a UK tour for me, but in that environment there is never a chance just to sit and enjoy his talent.
I tell you what………the man can sing. One of the best in the world. Tune in tonight at 8pm Eastern tim (April 23rd) to the Hogsbreath Saloon’s webcams. I will be sitting in with him.
